Race Stats
Privacy Policy

Race Stats is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your data or use it to track you across other apps or websites.
No tracking. The app contains no ads, no advertising identifiers (IDFA), and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
1. Information We Collect
Location Data
With your permission, the app uses your device's GPS location to measure and display your real-time speed, acceleration, and run statistics. Location is processed on your device for these features and is not transmitted to us, sold, or shared for advertising. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings, though doing so will disable speed measurement.
On-Device Data
Your vehicles, run history, personal bests, and app settings are stored locally on your device. This information stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. You can delete it at any time from within the app (Settings → Reset Statistics).
Subscriptions and Purchases
Race Stats offers an auto-renewable subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive or store your payment details. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management provider, to verify and manage your subscription entitlement. RevenueCat processes purchase and receipt information associated with an anonymous, randomly generated app user identifier, used only to deliver subscription features and never to track you across other apps or websites.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, the app may schedule local reminders (for example, vehicle maintenance reminders) directly on your device. These notifications are generated on-device and are not sent through our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide GPS-based speed, acceleration, and run measurements.
- Store and display your vehicles, run history, and personal records on your device.
- Verify and manage your subscription.
- Deliver local reminders you have enabled.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
- With Apple, to process purchases and manage your subscription through the App Store.
- With RevenueCat, solely to verify and manage your subscription entitlement.
- As required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
